Country singer Jana Kramer has had her fair share of public relationships and heartbreak over the years, but it seems she has finally found her happily ever after with Scottish former soccer player Allan Russell. The couple began dating in early 2022 and made their public debut as a couple in April of that year at the ACM Awards.
“I was hesitant to go public at first,” Kramer admitted in a recent interview. “After everything I’ve been through, I wanted to keep this relationship just between us for as long as possible. But pretty early on I knew Allan was different.”
Russell, who retired from his soccer career in 2021, popped the question during an intimate backyard pool party in May 2023 that Kramer threw for his birthday. During his speech, Russell thanked Kramer for her support and for bringing joy back into his life before getting down on one knee.
“I was completely surprised,” said Kramer. “I had no idea it was coming. I was so focused on throwing Allan this big birthday bash that when he started this emotional speech to me, at first I was confused. But then when he pulled out the ring, I just burst into happy tears.”
The surprise proposal will be featured in the upcoming third season of Kramer’s reality show “Untouchable,” which documents her life after divorce.
Just six months after their engagement, the blissful couple announced they were expanding their family when Kramer revealed she was pregnant with their first child together.
“We can’t wait to meet this little miracle,” she wrote in an Instagram post featuring a video of the couple beaming with excitement. “Allan and I wanted to grow our love even more and now we have a baby on the way!”
Kramer gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Miles Russell in November 2023. According to the proud parents, baby Miles definitely takes after his father.
“He’s absolutely perfect,” gushed Kramer. “Seeing Allan hold our son for the first time was such a special moment. This man has shown me what real love, patience and understanding looks like.”
After two failed marriages and various tumultuous relationships, it seems the country singer may have finally found her true partner in Allan Russell. The couple has expressed they can’t wait to walk down the aisle, but have not set a wedding date yet, preferring to enjoy their current baby bliss.
